Here are some images of our farm and the animals we raise.
Pasture grazing is a method of raising livestock, particularly dairy cows, where animals are allowed to graze on natural grasses and forage in a pasture or field. This practice is often considered more sustainable and environmentally friendly compared to confinement systems, as it allows animals to exhibit natural behaviors and promotes soil health.
In addition to dairy cows, many farms also raise other animals, such as sheep, goats, pigs, and chickens. These animals can provide additional sources of income and contribute to the overall sustainability of the farm.
There is a smaller heringbone shed capable of milking 140 cows at a time. This shed is used for milking cows that are not in the main herd. The cows are brought to the shed in groups and are milked in a similar manner to the main herd.
